Dr. Ralph Waldo Lloyd's 1953 Trip to India, China, and the Philippines

As a member of the World Council of Churches Central Committee, Maryville College's 6th President Dr. Ralph Waldo Lloyd attended the 1953 Annual Meeting in Lucknow, India. Following this meeting, the committee traveled around India, China, and the Philippines. Film footage is silent, in color, and is shaky at times.  World War II Comes to Campus

Primarily footage of the 42nd College Training Detachment Army Unit of the Army Air Force Training Corps arrival on campus in May 1943. Additional footage of lumbering in the College Woods and the moving of the Chatterbox to campus in August 1941. Film is in color and is silent.
